William "Greg" Middleton

On the 1st of July, 2023, the world lost a truly remarkable soul, William Gregory Middleton, known fondly to his loved ones as Greg. Born on September 8, 1961, in Ogden, Utah, Greg was an adventurous spirit who brought joy and warmth to the lives of many. His zest for life was infectious, and his humble nature touched everyone he met. Greg's supportive heart was his most defining trait; always there to lend a hand, share wisdom, or simply share a moment of laughter. He was an embodiment of love, selflessness, and resilience.

Greg’s love for the outdoors was second to none. His adventurous spirit found joy in skiing, boating, camping, scuba diving, and hiking. He was a passionate traveler, always eager to share tales of his exploits, including his amusing pursuit of Bigfoot. Yet it was his family, above all else, that Greg cherished most. As a loving husband to his wife Nodee Hankins, a supportive father to his sons Bryson and Mason, and a doting grandfather to Aidan, Kenzilynn, and Gage, Greg's devotion to his family was truly exceptional. He found his greatest joy in the laughter and happiness of his grandchildren, their presence filling his days with purpose and love. The echo of his laughter, the strength of his love, and the depth of his kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. 

A father is someone you look up to no matter how tall you grow.

Greg is survived by his wife Nodee Hankins; his sons Bryson (Ashley) Middleton and Mason Middleton; his grandchildren Aidan, Kenzilynn, and Gage; his siblings Ken Middleton, Christine Middleton, Walt Godwin, Wayne Godwin, Nancy Hunter, David Godwin, and Larry Knudsen; and his step-mother Luana Middleton. 

He was preceded in death by his father, William Middleton and his mother Barbara Middleton, and his siblings Stephen Middleton and Roxanne Middleton  

 A visitation from 6:00 - 7:00 PM will be held Friday, July 7, 2023, with Memorial services at 7:00 PM at Myers Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah.
