Damien Scott

Biography

Damien Scott is the General Counsel of CoinList Ventures, and he previously served as Deputy General Counsel to the CoinList platform and as the Chief Compliance Officer of EC Securities, another CoinList company and one of the first FINRA-registered broker dealers authorized to offer private placements of digital asset securities. Damien began his legal career at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York as a general practice associate working on securities offerings, other financings, and strategic corporate transactions. He currently serves as a co-chair of the Financial Inclusion Working Group at the Blockchain Foundation. 

Damien received his JD, cum laude, from The Howard University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts (Latin American Studies and History), cum laude, from NYU.
