Dr. Zajac is a great professor! I really enjoyed his class and thought that his lectures were very easy to understand and that he gave you the tools to complete course work. He also seems to really care about his students and makes sure that you understand the material.

Cool guy but the homework and exams are ridiculously hard. This is Physics 1, and most of us haven't talked about physics since high school. If you have to take physics, you will have a better time with another teacher.

Physics in general is complicated, but Zajac makes each class interesting and you leave knowing something you didn't know before. I believe he is the best teacher on campus, and he is always willing to help. For engineering students make sure you listen carefully when talking about statics because that's the only time you will truly learn it.

Professor Zajac seems all over the place with his teaching style. He is a great guy but the lectures you attend are videos that rarely leave you with any take home information that is useful on homework or labs. The homework examples done in lecture are far and away the same from the lecture or the book that is provided. I cry just about every day.

Zajac has an interesting instruction style, but don't let that scare you away. He want's the best for the class. He's an awesome instructor. Don't be scared to reach out and ask for help. Class was easy if you pay attention.

Great teacher, but gives very little room for error. If you take him, make sure everything you do counts b/c you're not getting extra credit or dropping any scores. This class is super hard, but he will bend over backwards to help you understand the material.

Gives a great lecture while using real life examples for every concept. When grading tests, he gives clear feedback in writing and is accessible for questions outside of class. Recommend getting a study group from day 1 and meeting at least every other day for homework and questions. *Clicker points are apart of grading

I also found his teaching style made the class confusing and the material more difficult to understand. He seems like a nice guy though.

While he seems to be very outgoing and helpful, his teaching style is often confusing and hard to follow. I know of many people who have failed his class. I felt lucky to have recieved a C in his class after hearing the grades of other fellow students. Since he is the only physics teacher, you don't have much of a choice.
