Bizarre movie, but so unexpected. The plot is a little wanting, but adam sandler is great in this. The ending also is a bit 'ad astra' no definitive climax or losing of the storyline. The scenes are beautiful and the middle of the movie is quite entertaining.

Thought provoking part space opera part earth opera. It's not a pew pew type alien movie which is what I'm assuming the bad reviews are about but people aren't admitting that. It's more about the human experience and moreso human loneliness. Well done.

Beautiful movie! Adam Sandler can really act and I don’t care what the critics say! If you are sensitive and emotionally in tune, then give this movie a chance. If you are easily bored then go and watch the 800th Marvel movie instead.

I’ll give it props for originality and for adam’s fine acting. But it was just too odd for me. If you’re looking for something different, maybe give it a try. Just a bit too slow, too odd, and I don’t know if “it” was real or just metaphorical.
