Meagan Navarro Bloody Disgusting "Locke & Key" has a way of drawing you in, even when it frustrates, and the messy growing pains of season two instill curiosity for a much darker season three. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 29, 2021 Full Review Gwen Ihnat AV Club Thanks to this pair of treasonous teenagers, Locke & Key deftly avoids the sophomore season slump, and actually builds on the suspense attached to the potential and menace in Keyhouse. Rated: B Oct 18, 2021 Full Review Nicolas Soto But Why Tho? A Geek Community Locke and Key Season 2 lives up to the hype of its previous season through various elements. A major focus is put on forgetting about magic once people become adults and the choice someone has in the matter. Rated: 8/10 Jan 21, 2023 Full Review Karen Rought Subjectify Media Though not quite as exciting as season 1, it excelled in balancing the action of the overarching plot with the interpersonal relationships of this talented cast. Rated: 4/5 Jan 13, 2022 Full Review Chelsie Derman The Young Folks Some shows out there you may like but not love because the content misses a special quality, a special charm. Locke and Key Season 2 has that special charm, with enough entrancing magic to lure you in. Rated: 10/10 Dec 15, 2021 Full Review Rafael Motamayor IGN Movies The second season of Locke & Key starts off darker and more focused than its predecessor, with more horror imagery and a terrifying villain, while still finding time for a poignant story of memories and growing up. Val C Season 1 was at least interesting with some fun, if not stupid stories. Season 2 turns into straight up boring teen drama, with little story development, less logic than a scooby doo episode, glacier-dragging pace, and even worse acting that season 1. How do actors actually get worse through time? Dialogue is strained and repetitive. Episodes fail to set up or develop any semblance of narrative continuity or plot. Just terrible. Not sure what went wrong besides, everything. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/20/23 Full Review Sankalp good S Kinsey nd Gabe chemistry brewing shine the duo's performance nd others charming acting makest the show very much good it mainly focus on the duo I miss dodge very much but her cameos are very satisfied us nd we discovered many new keys as well nd lockes history as well that's very great nd deep origin of the series love it absolutely awesome epic 👏🥰👌😃😃♥️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/16/23 Full Review Gage N I liked how this was alot better than season 1. Because, they have more keys, powers, and better enemies.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Zack C I had to mark half star down, just because Bode pissed me off so much ... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/08/22 Full Review cat d I thought it would get better after season 1 which was already meh, but it didn't. The demons came across as petty teens, which undermines their "evilness"--especially Eden she was laughingly unintimidating. Characters blundering all over the place to carry the plot made me want to punch the screen at the end of that so called "finale". Please don't watch I regret wasting my time already. Kinsey gets the Mary sue treatment because everyone worships/forgives her even though she's kind of an egotistic, impulsive asshole. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member ) The supremely dysfunctional family spends each episode with each character acting like they're in a different production or storyline than ever other family member. The mom is perfectly cast as the friendly neighbor who conjures up images of an International Foods Cafe Francais commercial. And naturally they predictably make a cavalcade of bad decisions to the point where they should all be dead. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
