Royal de Luxe has started in 2019 the realization of an ambitious multi-year artistic project in several acts, entitled “Great Bellevue”.

With the support of Nantes Metropole, the cities of Nantes and Saint-Herblain, Royal de Luxe has started in 2019 the realization of an ambitious multi-year artistic project, entitled “Great Bellevue”. This project is part of and interacts with the urban renewal plan of this area, straddling Nantes and Saint-Herblain.

It aims to instore in Bellevue an artistic presence inspired by popular theater, to accompany the inhabitants by bringing a breath of poetry. It is thus a question of revealing an identity which transcends the differences and of deeply transforms the relationship between the inhabitants and their neighbourhood, as well as the way it is seen from outside.

The artistic project was concretized by a first act, last January, an “imaginary situation”: “The lamplight with a knot”. The second act is the arrival of the Fiat 500 linked to a character, named Monsieur Bourgogne, an old camper who will come to spend his holidays in the Bellevue district.
