« I paint as I write, I write as I paint. It is difficult to talk about oneself, I believe that art belongs to the one who receives it. »
Salomé Perignon is a French novelist who did not initially intend to be a painter. In her exploration of new forms of self-expression, she has been creating works of art for several years, exhibiting in France. A blend of art brut and urban art, the central themes in Perignon’s works include love, sadness, incomprehension, injustice, modern society, and loneliness. Using mixed techniques, she paints with energetic urgency using acrylics, aerosols, posca, and oil pastels.
