What educators are saying

This was one of my favorite lessons!! These questions helped the students create a story of their own for our lesson project.
This was a great help when I was developing my Harris Burdick unit. This resource saved me lots of time!

Description

These questions and pictures were taken from Chris Van Allsburg’s Mysteries of Harris Burdick website. I have put them together and formatted them so they could be cut into strips for each student.

I use these question strips after we have read through the book as a whole class. Students choose one of the stories and are given the question strip as a way to inspire ideas. It also allows them to have an image to refer back to.

Updated: I have added the two missing pictures and included the bonus Missing in Venice Magician picture and questions.
