Awful (Onwardfly.com)

Awful. I placed an order after checking their FAQs and other info on the website and then discovered that it wasn’t immediate and would take me several hours to send the tickets! I needed it about 4-5 hrs later. Cost me $10 and they’re refusing to refund despite acknowledging that their website is completely unclear and says nothing about needing to wait. AVOID!

Dreadful experience

Dreadful experience - don't use

I tried Fly Onward for the first time this week, and definitely won't be using them again. I've had the same experience as many people; booked my 24 hour ticket with plenty of time ahead of my flight; the money was taken instantly from my Paypal; I received the initial email; and then... silencio. I've contacted them multiple times but not received a response. I'll be filing my claim through Paypal now too.

Another person here who used them …

Another person here who used them successfully a couple times in the past so had no idea they were suddenly scamming people. On my flight on Oct.29th I was asked for an onward ticket and had to panic and then manage to buy a real, non refundable one! And this is after buying *two* fly onward tickets and contacting them tons wondering why it wasn't working. Really upset with with this company, they should take their website down!!

Total SCAM... same story as those before me

My story is the same as everyone before me. I purchased a ticket rental last month and saw these reviews after it was purchased. I have an open claim against the company as no one has contacted me about this even after several attempts of contacting the merchant. If you need an onward ticket, I suggest booking one on American Express travel. They have a 24 hour free cancellation period.

Update Oct 1: dispute with PayPal resolved in my favor as the company never even answered the claim with them either.

DO NOT USE FLYONWARD!!!

DO NOT USE FLYONWARD!!!!
I used them once and it was fine ... second time - didn't get my ticket until TEN HOURS later (too late for me to use). Also, NO RESPONSE from customer service after many messages sent trying to firstly find out when my ticket might be coming or then afterward trying to get a refund.

The flight ticket never arrived

Bought one 48 hours leave ticket to leave Philippines. The money has been taken from my bank account but the ticket never arrived. At the airport, I was denied boarding for impossibility to show a valid return ticket. Without a nice checking employee cheating and creating me a fake ticket, I would have lost a 600€ flight ticket. I wrote a mail to their customer service with booking number and all details. They never replied.

Do you want to get denied boarding ? detained by customs ? Deported to your home country with a huge fine ? If no, do not book with flyonward

First time, last time

I paid to rent an onward flight (and I made sure it was during their normal business hours), and 10 hours later I still hadn't received the ticket. Heading to the airport, I still hadn't received the ticket. It never showed up and I was forced to purchase an onward ticket at a huge expense. Now I've contacted them multiple times for a refund and have received no response and no refund into my paypal account. Is this even a real company?

It's an excellent service at…

It's an excellent service at onwardfly.com, totally a different domain and brand name (Onward Fly vs. Fly Onward), you guys need to figure it out and don't get it wrong. I "rented" a ticket at onwardfly.com last week and oh man it really worked, great support too.

I have used this service four times...

I have used this service for times, with for family members each time, and it keeps getting rejected by Delta for one reason or another. I have contacted their customer support four times, and have not heard back from them even once to this day.

For this service to work, they would need to book the tickets from a different airline than I'm flying, and unfortunately, that isn't an option right now.

It seems like a great idea, and I really want to keep trying, but I can’t blow any more money until they figure it out on their end.

Why can't I put zero stars?!

Why can't I put zero stars? Fly Onward are complete crooks with no regard to the repercussions that they could potentially put travellers in. We ordered two tickets, received all the automated emails and even the morning of saying your tickets will arrive in 3 hours. Mind you, to be extra organised we paid extra to schedule the tickets to arrive at the right time. Fancy and lovely website hooked us in stupidly! No response from them at all, never got the tickets and by some miracle, no-one asked us to show an onward flight ticket at check-in and landing in our destination. I just hope no-one else goes through the stress we did. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

And currently, I'm following two PayPal claims up to get a refund as this pathetic company never respond.

I have used Fly Onward twice without a …

I have used Fly Onward twice without a problem. However I booked two tickets on Sunday morning at 10:57 am. I received my confirmation of payment from pay-pal and an email from Fly Onward stating I would be receiving my itinerary as soon as they finished with the process on their end. I never received my itinerary, although the money was taken. I emailed them and have never heard from them again. I was very disappointed and will never use their service again.

WASTE OF MONEY

Needed to get the tickets quickly since they expire in 24 hours--had a 25 hour travel day. So I bought the tickets right before checking in, but they were not issued until 5 HOURS later...it was too late for them to be effective. Ended up quickly purchasing an American Airlines flight which has a 24-hour refund window!! I emailed FlyOnward twice before the tickets were issued to cancel the order, but of course, there was no response and my money was gone and tickets were issued 5 hours after I needed them. No contact number or customer service. Such a waste of money.

Never got my ticket

Rented a 48 hours ticket, never received anything!!! I was lucky I wasn't checked at the airport, because after over one whole day they didn't send me the ticket or anything.
Don't trust flyonward.com, after you paid them you never hear from them again !!!

I purchased passes to use immediately

I purchased passes to use immediately.
-received them 3 hours 37 mins later

When I went to the airline's website to check the validity of the ticket, they put in my name incorrectly.
-I contacted them ASAP & no one responded.
-Their website says refunds can be issued within 7 days only.
-After 7 days, they never responded.

Tips for getting your money back:
-If you can verify your information is incorrect on the Airline's website, remember to print a copy so you can have proof. Otherwise, after the 24 or 48 hours expires there's no way to view it anymore.
-File a claim with your bank or credit card
-Send them the proof of error
-My bank returned the money to me in less than 30 days

Most likely the website was sold and the buyer decided on abandoning it

Their SSL certificate is expired, PayPal does not accept their payments anymore. Based on what the others are saying, I have avoided them.

However, I tried searching for alternatives. Behold, bestonwardticket seems to do exactly the same thing and the reviews here on trustpilot are very good. Booked my return ticket, got a confirmation email, waiting for their business hours for the ticket to be delivered.

14h after I rented my ticket, nothing!

I "rented" a 48h ticket from Flyonward at 5:30pm August 9 for a flight on August 10th in the evening. It is now 8am august 10th (over 14h later), I have been charged on my Paypal, but have not received anything yet, I have sent 3 messages to their costumer service and no answer!
*It's now over 2 weeks later, and I never received anything... I put a claim through Paypal, they tried communicating with Fly Onward also and got no reply... I should get my money back soon.

Zero issues whatsoever

So I paid for the service before reading the reviews here, and then after found the reviews when googling how long the ticket would take.. I figured based on everyone here I was out 10 bucks. Annoying but whatever. While waiting in line at the airport I started looking for a cheap one way out of Japan, and then I checked my email and saw fly onward had sent me the ticket already. It took about an hour or so.
While this service worked perfectly well for me (didn't end up needing to provide proof of onward journey but peace of mind was nice) Im not sure I'm going to try it again based on others experiences.. might just try and find a refundable ticket myself next time.

Wish I had seen these reviews before I …

Wish I had seen these reviews before I purchased this ticket. Was left paying full price at the desk because the ticket hadn't come through. Like everyone else they took the money, will have to now waste some of my holiday disputing this with Paypal it seems. Don't waste your time on these guys.

FlyOnward at FlyOnward.com is a SCAM

FlyOnward at FlyOnward.com is a SCAM. We paid for an onward ticket on their website at least 12 hours before our flight and have received a confirmation of our payment right away. We waited 8 hours before we have received their confirmation email that our order was processed and that we will receive the ticket in 10 mins from them or TripCase. We've waited but no ticket came. We've sent them inquiries via email and their website but there wasn't any response from them. We've received an email them following day that ticket has already expired. We've been sending them inquiries to at least refund us with our payment but they are not responding to messages.

I did not receive my ticket, no reply from customer service

I was in need of a return ticket out of the Philippines within the same day. l, was flying from Lisbon to Cebu, I paid and received an email that looked like an acknowledgement of my booking but without any confirmation number. The email said a ticket would follow by email but it did not. The the airline rejected the email I showed them. After much stress and attempting to contact customer service (I received no reply from that help request or a request for refund later) Emirates in Lisbon were kind enough to fix me a temporary ticket.
