It’s been less than two years since Lady Gaga last delivered a full-length album, but it appears she has already has new music on the way…a lot of it. According to paparazzi photos and posts on various social media platforms from fans and musicians alike, it looks like the pop singer is working on not one, not even two, but three new records, though there’s no saying exactly when any of them might arrive. Throughout the past several months, Gaga has been seen going into studios across the country, and based on the people she’s been seen with, it’s entirely possible that she has a trio of albums coming, and they are likely going to be extremely different from one another.

Here’s a look at the three albums Lady Gaga is likely working on.

It hasn’t been too long since Gaga stopped promoting her Joanne record, but it’s never too early to start working on the next full-length. Fans of the singer are always hungry for more pop, and the genre has a notoriously short attention span, so it’s best not to stay away from Top 40 radio for too long. The “Million Reasons” singer-songwriter has been seen in the studio with top-notch producers like Boys Noize and BloodPop, who are well-known for their electronic pop tunes. Their inclusion seems to suggest that though she went in an Americana direction for her last record, the sixth collection might see her return to the dance-pop that made her a star. Fall 2018 might be too early to expect anything from these sessions, but perhaps the first half of 2019 will see Gaga return in all her glory?

A New Tony Bennett Collaboration

While the combination of Lady Gaga, one of the weirdest pop stars to come along in decades, and Tony Bennett, an American treasure known for crooning standards, might seem to make little sense, when the two come together to make music, it’s magical. The odd couple partnered for a song on Bennett’s Duets II, and things went so well, they decided to create and release a full collection.

Cheek to Cheek debuted at No. 1 in 2014 thanks to both Gaga’s and Bennett’s fan bases turning up to buy and stream the project, and they even toured on the album and went on to win a Grammy together. The two were recently seen entering the same NYC recording studio on the same day, and given the fact that there have been rumors about a second installment coming at some point, it’s possible that they may have another album sometime soon. Things went so well the first time around, why wouldn’t they replicate that success?

A Star Is Born

Gaga and Bradley Cooper are currently remaking the classic film that has now been done several times with some of the biggest and best actresses of all time. The movie will likely spin off a soundtrack, as did the 1976 remaking, which starred Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. That album went to No. 1 and sold millions, so the pressure to get it right and send it up the charts is extreme (as if it wasn’t already one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year).

The pop star (and movie star, perhaps) was reportedly in the studio with Cooper recently, finishing the album. Since the film is slated to arrive in theaters in October, the album is likely only a few months away from dropping, and there’s no word yet on if it will simply accompany the movie, or if it will be properly promoted with a single being sent to radio and a music video.
