A lovely hybrid Magnolia with very large, scented, pinkish blooms in spring. This spreading, small, deciduous tree flowers before the leaves unfurl, with the blooms reaching up to 25cm across.
Suitable for planting in mixed shrub borders, among spring flowering bulbs and even assorted evergreen shrubs.
Grow in well drained soil. Plant where this hardy small tree can receive plenty of sun. Light shade is tolerated. An application of fertiliser in spring is appreciated. Cultivate soil before planting.
