        Andro-Monoecious trees, 30-48 m tall; bark brownish grey, reticulately fissured. Leaves simple, opposite, decussate; petioles ca. 2-4 cm long; lamina ca. 8-16 x 3.5-5 cm, oblong or ovate-oblong to ovate-elliptic, rounded or cuneate with 3 basal nerves at base, abruptly acuminate at apex, entire, glabrous above, slivery white or grey beneath, coriaceous; secondary nerves 7-9 pairs. Inflorescences in corymbose panicles, ca. 3-5 cm long, glabrous, appearing with leaves; Flowers 5-merous, yellowish or yellowish green; sepals ca. 2.5-3 mm long, white, lanceolate or oblong, hairy at the top; petals equal to sepals; stamens 5-8; filaments white, included, inserted on the disc; ovary pubescent; styles 2. Samaras ca. 3-7.5 cm long, glabrous; mericarps unequal; wings constricted at base, slightly divergent, much veined.
