Jason Chan, Leanne Fu announce another pregnancy
17 Oct – After previously announcing that they are stopping at one kid after losing another unborn child, singer Jason Chan Pak Yu and wife Leanne Fu revealed that they are having another daughter soon.
Leanne shared the news on social media on 15 October, saying that while she told herself last year that she had no more courage to get pregnant again, she was surprised when she was blessed with another.
"I am grateful for this pregnancy, and carrying this feeling of concern and gratitude for this gift that is hard to come by. I only hope that [Abigail's] little sister can be born safely and healthily," she wrote.
Leanne stated that a lot of people actually have been asking her if she was pregnant again, but that she couldn't share prior as she was still in trauma over the previous losses.
"But my belly is growing big too quickly, so today I share this happiness with everyone," she added.
It is noted that Leanne and Jason announced back in 2021 that they were done with trying to have another child when they had to terminate another pregnancy after the unborn baby was diagnosed with Edward's syndrome, in which the child is suffering from multiple birth defects and would not live for long after the birth.
