This variety of cockspur hawthorn has thornless stems. It displays beautiful white flowers in spring and persistent fruit in fall and winter.
This variety of Hawthorne tree is small, has a globular form with a short trunk and horizontal branches which sweep the ground. Thick, glossy foliage turns bright orange to red in the fall. Tree grows 20-35' tall with an equal spread.
Hawthorns suffer from many diseases including rusts, fireblight, fungal leaf spots, powdery mildew, cankers, apple scab, and blights.
