Hibiscus syriacus 'Oiseau Bleu' is a compact, medium-sized, bushy, dense, upright, deciduous shrub, with unique, three-lobed, toothed, dark green leaves. Large, trumpet-shaped, pastel violet-blue, single flowers with dark red throats bloom abundantly in summer and autumn. Hibiscus syriacus 'Oiseau Bleu' prefers, fertile, slightly alkaline, moist, well-drained soils. It thrives in full sun and needs long, hot summers to flower well. Once established, resistant to drought. Very resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered from harsh winds. Tolerant of heat, humidity, salt and coastal conditions. It can withstand urban pollution. No serious pest or disease problems. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require much pruning. Rose of Sharon 'Oiseau Bleu' is a beautiful, long-flowering, exotic-looking shrub, that doesn’t require much care. It is suitable for cottage, coastal, and urban gardens and for growing in containers on balconies and patios. Excellent for shrub and mixed borders, trellises and wall-side borders. Great for foundation plantings and informal hedges and screens.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
