A British-bred form of the Monterey Cypress raised by Treseder of Truro in the late 1940s this spectacular conifer won the Award of Garden Merit in 2002.

A medium size tree and therefore much smaller than the species Goldcrest has a narrow columnar habit and rich yellow feathery foliage.
Certainly one of the best of its colour it remains dense and compact.
