After the release of two projects in 2018 and looking towards dropping another pair in the highly anticipated Flockaveli 2 and Salute Me or Shoot Me 6, Waka Flocka Flame has already had a busy 2018. And while he’s flooded the marketplace with new music, that could all be coming to an end soon as the ATL rapper says he’s ready to walk away from rapping and dedicate his time to being a family man.
During an upcoming interview with Raquel Harper that will air Tuesday night (Nov. 13) as part of BET’s Raq Rants series, Flocka teased his retirement. “I been gave it up. They booking me. I don’t want to rap, they forced me to put new music out,” he began. “I did what I came to do. I made past $30 million dollars. Everybody I started with is rich. Everybody I started with is happy. I don’t have nothing else to do.”
The 32-year-old is ready to evolve into the next stage of his life and have a baby with wife Tammy Rivera next year. “Life changed for me. People want me to be ‘Hard In Da Paint’ Waka, but I’m 32-years-old. I’m a grown-ass man. I just want to be a good husband. I’m about to make a baby next year,” the “No Hands” rapper forecasts.
