Hello Kitty Airlines Features Cutest In-Flight Meals

What's that in the sky? It's a bird, it's a plane...it's Hello Kitty! Eva Air and Sanrio have teamed up to launch Hello Kitty-themed jets to fly from Taipei to destinations in Asia.

The plane is a floating homage to Hello Kitty inside and out. Each of the jets in the fleet are painted with a particular Hello Kitty theme on the outside of the aircraft. The Magic Jet has Hello Kitty waving her wand with a wave of stars, while the Apple Jet conveys the icon's love of apples. Who knew Hello Kitty was such a fan? In fact, according to Eva Air, Hello Kitty's favorite food is her mom's homemade apple pie. In-flight it's apples for everyone! The flight attendants pass out apples to all passengers during the trip.

Each cabin is elaborately decorated with the character. There are more than 100 in-flight service items branded with the famous cat, from the headrest covers to the soap to the snacks. Water bottles, cups, utensils, milk, and even the ice cream have been touched with Hello Kitty. The food is surely the cutest you'll see at 30,000 feet in the sky — Hello Kitty fruit cut-outs, molds, and shaped vegetables — this jet's cuisine will certainly bring a smile to your face.
