The Orres ski resort, located in the Hautes-Alpes, welcomes you in winter in an exceptional natural setting. From its ski area (1650-2720 m) which rises above the lake of Serre-Ponçon on 1170 m of elevation gain, admire the panorama on the Ecrins National Park on one side and the Parpaillon massif on the other, walk the slopes lined with a larch forest and enjoy the sun of the Southern Alps.
Les Orres is also the summer, with the chairlifts that work every day in July and August to reach the peaks without effort or to make a descent by mountain bike and join the bike park. In summer, in addition to hiking and mountain biking, many activities suitable for young and old are available.
A rural museum, with a different theme each year, welcomes you 6 afternoons out of 7 in the winter and summer season.
Winter: many sports activities are offered for all ages apart from skiing such as snowshoeing, ice rink, paragliding, "L'Orrian Express" toboggan run, dog sledding, snowmobiling, airboard, snakegliss, and for the little ones, 2 nurseries (6 months/5 years), 2 snow gardens (3/6 years) and a children's club (6/12 years) offering trapper outings, igloo construction, toboggan competitions...
Summer: hiking, mountain biking, "L'Orrian Express" toboggan run, swimming pool, tennis, archery, adventure course, trail running, children's club (6/12 years old), horse riding, quad biking, climbing, via ferrata, paragliding, ice rink, nautical activities on the Serre-Ponçon lake or rafting on the Durance.
Every winter, find at Christmas time a magical week with shows for young and old; and children's shows or concerts of various music with local groups or headliners in the "Espace Encounter et Culture" performance hall.
Every summer, find the patronal festivals, the markets, the concerts "Tuesdays of the summer" with a different musical theme each week, the activities for young and old.
