Acer cappadocicum or the Cappadocicum Maple is a fast growing and tall deciduous tree - better suited to large gardens or parklands where it will provide a lovely dappled shade in summer.
It has smooth green leaves that are palmately deeply lobed, with a rather delicately pointed look.
In autumn it will turn a spectacular shade of gold before dropping its leaves.
Flowers are yellowy green and small, turning to double samaras to spread their seed.
It prefers cooler climates.
Stems when broken will seep with a milky, latex-like sap.
