Logitech G9 Gaming Laser Mouse

Introduction:

Athletes all over the world are always searching for the best gear to help them exceed in their respective sports. Cyber athletes are no different in this regard. We are always looking for the best mouse, keyboard, graphics card, monitor, and whatever else will give us the edge over our opponents. In my opinion, the most important piece of equipment for cyber athletes is the mouse. Some ideal qualities are lightning quick responses, amazingly high dpi capabilities, great control and feel, as well as customizability. We’ll be looking at the Logitech G9 gaming laser mouse today. Is this the mouse you need to put yourself above the competition? Let’s see just how well this mouse does compared against some other popular mice on the market.

Logitech is a leading manufacturer in the input device industry. The company is world renown, trusted brand that provides honest, inexpensive solutions for the needs of many different users. Logitech continues to produce some of the finest input devices available to the public.

Closer Look:

The box that the G9 is packaged in is very unique. It has a cut out for the mouse to protrude to give potential customers an idea for what the mouse is like. The box is cut diagonally in half so you’re pulling apart two triangles.

Once you open the box up, on the left you’ll notice some of the key features of the mouse. On the right of the box you are shown one of the interchangeable faceplates for the G9. The back of the box also shows multiple key features of the mouse. 

Before we get a closer look at the mouse, let’s look at the included accessories. Included is the interchangeable faceplate, a container filled with weights, and a paper case. I was a bit confused on what was inside of this paper case which read “Pure Gaming”.  Inside of the case you’ll find the instruction manual and a sheet informing you on how to change profiles on the mouse manually.

The weights are in a simple aluminum container and it holds a total of 44g of weight (four 7g weights, and four 4g weights).
