Aceraceae

Acer platanoides 'Farlake's Green' Acer platanoides 'Farlake's Green'

Medium-sized tree that can reach a height of circa 20 m. It is a strong grower with an evenly wide- pyramidal to round crown. The tree draws the attention because of its typical olive-green bark. During the juvenile years the branches grow very vertically, only after years does the crown become rounder. The leaves are dark green and turn yellow in autumn. The flowers are of the species. 'Farlake's Green' is well suitable for application as an avenue tree. It demands little from the soil, but stagnating groundwater and peaty soil are not tolerated. The tree is resistant to strong winds. Winter hardiness zone: 4.
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2024.
